Kea has really helped me identify and develop my strengths. My favourite part of my job is getting to talk to interesting and forward-thinking people every day. It’s exciting to know that the candidates we place will have a direct influence on global trends and outcomes.
Success, for me, will be reaching the point when candidates and clients feel like they can trust my judgement and advice. The key thing is really just being able to listen inquisitively. You will learn everything you need to know from your candidates and clients but you have to listen and want to understand and know more.
Having lived in several different countries and studied International Relations I have always really enjoyed meeting people from all over the world, and now I get to make a career out of it.
Day-to-dayIt depends on the day and the season but I am always trying to learn more about the market by chatting with candidates and clients.
How does your personal life interplay with Kea's values?
Watching the Kea team really embody the value Drive to Improve has inspired me to constantly self-reflect and improve myself outside of work.
What made you join Kea?
The Kea team is such a warm and intelligent group of people. Everyone is constantly helping each other improve and grow which is a wonderful thing to be part of.
Relationship FirstI think this value speaks to me the most because I would say that it’s been the key to Kea’s success. Kea is so successful because we recognise how human recruitment really is.
My everyday professional regret is not asking a question or for advice when it’s actually the best way to learn.
My edgeis probably my excellent taste in sweater vests.
