Joining Kea was an exciting transition after almost 8 years at a buyside recruiting firm in New York. What drew me in was Kea’s relationship-first approach (with both clients and candidates), which was clear from my very first introduction to the team and has only been reaffirmed throughout my time here. The company’s commitment to human connection and its culture of giving team members the space to take ownership and lead made it clear that this was the right place to grow in a new environment, both professionally and personally.

My edge lies in my detail-oriented approach, genuine care, and constant drive for self-improvement.
I strive to deliver the best experience for clients and candidates alike and compete with myself to do better. I started in buyside in New York shortly after my prior firm was founded and quickly became one of the team’s most longstanding members. Working with industry-leading founders who shaped this field, I’ve gained invaluable experience across the US and EU markets, giving me a unique and differentiated perspective.

What does it take to be successful in your role?

CP

Intellectual curiosity. We all need to be deeply invested in understanding our clients, their needs, and the market. We act as an extension of their team, and we represent them in the candidate pool like their marketing partner. Curiosity and a commitment to finding them the best talent are essential.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

Buyside recruiting strikes the perfect balance between relationship-building and daily operations/administration. The ever-changing market keeps each day unique, exciting, and full of opportunities to adapt and grow. A typical day might include breakfast with a candidate in late-stage interviews, pitching to a prospective client, and internal meetings on market expansion. At Kea, collaboration is key—everyone is ready to share insights or offer support. I experienced this first-hand when transitioning to the UK; the team welcomed me and provided invaluable guidance in navigating a new market.
