I believe that every business leader should have a coach, no matter how big their business is or what stage of growth it is at. It can be lonely at the top, and just because you are in charge doesn’t mean you have all the answers.
I’ve personally done a huge amount of development work with business coaches over the past few years and it has been transformative. It has not only helped me grow as a leader, it has shown my senior leadership team the value of investing in personal growth.
If I was a professional sportswoman, I would have at least three coaches; one for my game, my mind and fitness. So just because I work in business, why wouldn’t I want the same support for improvement.
