What does success mean for you at Kea?
“Choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life” - Confucius I love working with people, and this is a people business. Success for me is joy that comes from the people I’m surrounded with and the strengths of the relationships behind the outcomes. Whether it’s a candidate landing the right role or a client finding the right person who’s the perfect fit for their team. It’s also personal… growth, learning something new every day, comfort in who I am and how I work, and building relationships that last well beyond a single placement. Kea is a firm built on getting to know people properly, not just processing candidates through a pipeline. That relationship-first, personal touch approach, plus a positive and supportive team is what made joining Kea an easy decision.
How does your personal life interplay with Kea’s values?
Having lived in New York for many years and now in South Florida, I find myself constantly surrounded by people in the industry. Whether it was a passing conversation at a West Village bar, a networking event, or on the golf course, I naturally cross paths with people who could become future candidates, clients, or simply friends. Over time, I've learned to approach these interactions with a relationship-first mindset, which aligns closely with how we operate at Kea. My fiancé also works in the space, and through our everyday conversations about deals, businesses, and market trends, I'm constantly learning. That natural curiosity and exposure to the industry outside of work helps me become better at what I do every day.
What’s your edge?
Being a US native having worked in the financial services space for over 5 years now, I have a broad view of how candidates move between these worlds and what clients across the space are actually looking for. Backed by the London-based team and their institutional knowledge, it really makes for a dynamic duo. That, combined with the fact that I have a genuine interest in people. I enjoy building relationships and helping people navigate important decisions. Whether it's grabbing coffee with a candidate or simply staying in touch over time, I try to show up as myself and build trust through authentic interactions. I've found that the best outcomes come from being curious, approachable, and invested in helping others, not just filling a role.
What made you join Kea? What’s different about us (compared to other headhunters)?
Drive to improve is the value resonates with me most. While all of Kea’s values feel interconnected, this one stands out because it combines humility, curiosity, and ambition. What I’ve noticed at Kea is that, despite the firm’s success, there is a willingness to keep learning, ask questions, and find better ways to serve clients and candidates. To me, recognizing that there is always more to learn isn’t a weakness, it’s a strength. It takes a special kind of person to use that self-awareness as motivation, and I think that mindset is a big part of what makes Kea’s culture so unique.
