When Hephzi and I conceived Kea in 2009, we set out to address an essential gap in the recruitment of junior Buy-side candidates by bringing to the process quality relationship management previously reserved only for senior search. My role as the co-founder of Kea has been underlined by a global perspective, a deep understanding of the market Kea serves, and above all, a strong emphasis on relationships and promoting diversity.
Growing up in the UK, my interest in business perhaps began with my first entrepreneurial venture, aged five, raising money to save monkeys in Africa, and evolving over the years. Subsequently, I completed my degree in Sociology at Leeds, during which I gleaned an intense respect for the power of relationships and networking. Since then, I have built a powerful network during my time working in a FTSE 100 media company and over a decade in financial recruitment. Previously, I held a senior role at Glocap Search building their European Practice from its New York office. In addition to my interest in all things private equity and venture capital, I am passionate about promoting women in finance. In my free time, you may find me enjoying good food, watching TED talks or playing with my young daughter
